Who's
King of the Coop?
Departments
throughout the Vanguard campus hold
their own United Way Campaign events
to raise funds and have some fun.
In the Goliath Building, teams competed
throughout the week in seven different
events such as basketball, Name That
Song, and Pictionary. The six teams
with the highest point scores each
sent a representative to the "Fifth
Annual Wing Bowl," a chicken wing
eating contest. The six contestants
were joined by a "mystery" contender
who turned out to be Steve Herrmann,
a department manager.

The Color of Giving
Employees
at The Light House colored their way
through their 2007 United Way Campaign
with a special event that not only helped
to raise funds for the community, but
also added 7 days of excitement, competition,
fun, laughter, creativity and a huge
splash of bright colors to their world.
Employees held a week-long competition,
naming each workday after a color and
competing to see who can wear the most
items of that one color on that day.
In the photos above, you can see how
some of the employees let their imaginations
run. What a wonderful way to support
others and at the same time brighten
up a dreary winter day!

Tricycle Warriors at Rohm and Haas
Charles
Wallace, Chief Technology Architect and IT Director, and Dr. Phil
Lewis, Vice President; Director, Environmental Health, Safety(EHS)
and Sustainable Development, are revving their engines at the launch
of the Rohm and Haas Executive Tricycle Race. Legs sometimes swung
over handle bars, heads bowed against the wind, these brave riders
were not to be outdone by the limited seating capacity of their
race vehicles. Enthusiastic pit crews were standing by to help propel
their riders to victory. Ultimately, this fierce race of tricycle
warriors was won by Charles Wallace, this year's Rohm and Haas campaign
chair, who was riding in support of the Community Impact Fund.

UGI/AmeriGas Celebrates Another
Record-Breaking Campaign!
The UGI/AmeriGas campaign committee and Lon Greenberg,
Chairman and CEO, celebrate another record breaking campaign. Challenged
by Lon’s commitment to increase the corporate gift by $20,000
if the 84% participation rate of 2006 was surpassed, the 304 UGI/AmeriGas
employees reached 87% participation, achieved a per capita gift
of $697 and grew from 60 to 67 Leadership Donors at $1,000 or more.
This August members of IKON’s Legal Department rolled up
their sleeves and took up their sponges for their third annual charity
car wash. For a small donation, Legal Department staff washed their
co-worker’s cars while they worked. All proceeds from the
event went towards IKON’s 2007 United Way Pacesetter campaign.
Way to go IKON!
