Our Vision
United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania is looking for partners to reach
a greater audience in our mission to make lasting change in our community.
You can help. Join the United Way Speakers Bureau. The Speakers Bureau provides
United Way campaigns with motivational and informative speakers who truly understand – “what
matters.”
The Speakers Bureau is a year-round program designed to provide campaigns
access to community leaders who will inform and motivate audiences to volunteer
and
donate to United Way. Through compelling stories and images, community partners
participating in the Speakers Bureau help audiences recognize how they can
help mobilize the community by investing in preparing children and youth
to succeed in school and in life, building financial stability and independence
for families and keeping seniors healthy and safe at home.
United Way is looking for a diverse group of speakers from agencies and community
partners to help in addressing donors, volunteers, corporate and community
leaders. Share Your Voice – Join Our Vision.
United Way is looking for:
- Agency Speakers: executive directors
and managers of United Way funded agencies
that can share information on how their partnership
with United Way is helping solve our community’s
most pressing human service needs.
- Leadership
Speakers: agency speakers and corporate community
leaders who support
United Way’s
mission of leading, inspiring, and mobilizing
donors and volunteers to help provide solutions
to our most pressing health and human service
needs.
- Combined Campaign Speakers: agency or
federation representatives selected from
the Combined
Campaign list of eligible agencies (which
may or may not include United Way funded
agencies).
The primary focus of these speakers is to
promote giving in general although they will
focus
on their respective organizations and the
other federations involved (speakers used
for federal
and state giving campaigns only).
