United Way Women’s
Initiative makes a positive impact
in the community and a real difference in the
lives
of women.
The Women’s Initiative includes women
leaders who are taking an active role in the
philanthropic community by giving their time
and resources to support the important work
of United Way in helping women, children and
families in the region.

Way is Turning Girls into Leaders
 In
an effort to help girls in the
Philadelphia region realize their
potential as young leaders in their
communities, United Way of Southeastern
Pennsylvania’s Women’s Initiative
hosted thirty young girls from
a variety of neighborhoods, backgrounds
and skill levels, to participate
in the Girls Today, Leaders Tomorrow
Program.
