Summer is the Time to Stuff the Bus!
United Way’s annual Stuff the Bus project provides children and youth living in homeless shelters with a *new* bookbag filled with school supplies for the first day of school. Each summer with the help of the community, business and labor organizations, United Way is able to provide thousands of kids with everything they need to go back to school with a smile.
There are an estimated 10,000 school-aged children and youth living in homeless shelters across the region. United Way needs your help to Stuff the Bus!

From coast to coast on the longest day of the year, United Ways across the country participate in a nationwide ‘Day of Action’ as a call-to-action for individuals to LIVE UNITED. United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania celebrated the 2009 Day of Action on June 21st by kicking off Stuff the Bus at the LIVE UNITED: Day of Action Concert for Stuff the Bus.
The concert featured local artists: Pepi Ginsberg, Sunny Day in Glasgow, Oh! Pears, and Neighborhood Choir. All proceeds from the event benefited Stuff the Bus.
