2--American Red Cross - Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter Allocation Amount: $1,260,160 |
United Way works with the American Red Cross to help people in the region at time of emergency or crisis. In addition to the ARC’s disaster relief efforts, United Way also services to families made homeless by fire or other disaster and supports educational programs for workplace and community health safety, efforts to guarantee a safe and adequate blood supply, assistance to members of the Armed Forces and Veterans, and youth programs. |
3--Catholic Federation of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Allocation Amount: $938,386 |
Through its allocation to the Catholic Federation, United Way supports a wealth of community-based service programs for young people, families and seniors, including after school and youth development programs, family centers, senior centers, specialized education programs, homeless services, foster care and adoption services, immigration services, and services for people with developmental disabilities.. |

United Way supports Salvation Army’s efforts to meet the need of our most vulnerable citizens, especially those who need disaster relief, emergency housing, child-care supports, services for seniors, and a wide variety of supportive and rehabilitative programs for children, youth and families throughout the region. |
5--YMCA of Philadelphia & Vicinity Allocation Amount: $568,877 |
United Way supports YMCA’s broad spectrum of services in the areas of child care and youth development: preventive health programs, reading for the functionally illiterate, summer day camp, youth swim instruction, youth sports and recreation activities. |
6--Caring People Alliance Allocation Amount: $444,669 |
Caring People Alliance uses its United Way allocation to provide a network of high quality, community-based programs and services that promote character building, educational achievement, healthy lifestyles and teamwork through youth programs, parenting programs, community services, and programs for older adults. |
7--Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia,

With United Way’s support, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Philadelphia offers an extensive array of programs for the region’s most vulnerable young people, including sports and fitness programs and youth activities encouraging the development of skills in character development, healthy living, career planning, technology, and arts and culture. |
8-- American Cancer Society, Pennsylvania Division, Inc. Allocation Amount: $353,593 |
United Way partners with the American Cancer Society to fight cancer through research, education, and community programs of prevention, detection and services to the patient and family in Philadelphia and Montgomery Counties. |
9--American Heart Association Allocation Amount: $318,263 |
In collaboration with United Way, the American Heart Association educates and advocates to reduce disability and death from cardiovascular diseases and stroke through research, community programs and public and professional education. |

United Communities Southeast Philadelphia is supported by United Way to provide a safety net of social service supports for South Philadelphia families across racial, ethnic and neighborhood boundaries. Its programs include after school and youth development activities, parenting programs, social service case management, economic development programs, and educational programs. |

Family and Community Service of Delaware County is supported by United Way to provide direct social services to the county’s most vulnerable citizens through counseling and case management services, educational programs, substance abuse treatment, domestic violence counseling, older adult services, and emergency support. |
13--Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania Allocation Amount: $255,248 |
Girl Scouts receives United Way support for its informal, values-based education program providing girls ages 5-17 with opportunities to develop to their fullest potential through programs and activities that help girls learn valuable leadership and decision-making skills with guidance from adult role models. |

Nationalities Services Center’s United Way funding has helped it to become a premiere support service for immigrants to the Delaware Valley, providing family counseling, case management, English language instruction, high school equivalency diplomas, immigration representation, interpretation and translation services, and community education activities to promote cross-cultural harmony and understanding. |

United Way provides financial support and training to The Lighthouse’s many programs for children, adolescents and young adults, including early childhood education, sports and recreation, youth services, teen parenting, economic development, and adult education. |
