Agency Funding Opportunities
Thank you for interest in funding opportunities with United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
In 2007, UWSEPA’s board approved the Agenda for Community Solutions, which outlined three critical community level goals that United Way is focusing on in the coming years:
- Education – Preparing Children to Succeed in School and in Life
- Income – Building Financial Stability and Independence for Families
- Health – Keeping Seniors Healthy and Safe at Home
The Agenda also identifies key strategies for reaching those goals. Based on the results of the first two years of our first funding cycle in pursuit of these goals, UWSEPA has been engaged in a process over the past few months to refine our strategies to more sharply focus our collective resources (funding, advocacy, and community engagement) to achieve the greatest impact.
United Way is planning to launch its next three year funding cycle in early fall 2010 for funding to be awarded in spring 2011.
